Just found this review of our restaurant, ...

#1 I agree chili should be spicy, and our house recipe is, and is always the choice I would make. The Philly Chili is for the chili novice who doesn't want the heat. Trust us we compete with our chili we know what we're doing.

#2 We agree the "McRib" sucked and i no longer on the menu, we now make something called the "Rib Tip" which is our BBQ babyback ribs, pulled off the bone and its much better.

I suggest you come back and try us out ... we've made a lot of changes for the better including a bar serving 12 draft lines and 20+ bottled beers.

Hope to see you soon!!

Hillwood is an especially nice place to spend Valentine's Day this year! We are having an opening benefit that night for our exhibition, "The Style that Ruled the Empires: Russia, Napoleon, and 1812," called "Guns and Roses" that will feature a vodka tasting and roses. http://www.hillwoodmuseum.org/events/2012-Guns-and-Roses.pdf

Worked at Yogo Joy. Hope to God that other resturants and yogurt places are not like this. I have witnessed workers Spit in the vats of yogurts after making them. I have seen a mouse and most importantly THERE ARE ONLY 32 OUNCES OF YOGURT PER VAT. that means that what your eating is a huge bag of powder and because the owner, Ree Choi, is cheap, he changed the recipe to using only water, not milk. so before u read the nutrition facts on the wall and the bull shit slide show behind the counter, realize that your just eating frozen powdered water. also at 39 cents per ounce, you would think your getting quality ingredients, but this is not the case.

I really enjoyed your article. I too have been researching all the different cultural diets out there and I agree that the key is wholesome, fresh, unprocessed but utmost and importantly BALANCED. I was a vegetarian for seven years and still became ill with food poisoning and was overweight in the worse way. So no, I say moderation, balance and stay away from food ingredients that you can't pronounce or too many on the labels. I mostly eat a Mediterranean diet, I eat fish primarily above other meats. I exercise regularly and I've maintained my weight with few fluctuations. I drink coffee, and green tea. I have dairy from time to time. I personally believe it is a individual choice as well as what helps you to feel your best and keep your health at an optimum level.

Hi Doug: In case you were missing Peniche, it has, in a manner of speaking, moved to the top of the Ritz Carlton (42nd fl) and is now called Bellotta. Good tapas now with a good view! Have been hearing good things about Sofrito, though.

Please let us all know when your liver starts to fail due to necrosis. Or at least work in some fish.

Hi Marilyn,

Any of the above stores would be worth checking out for a wok. Also, try H-Mart and Great Wall in Falls Church. I'm pretty sure I saw some there too.
