Hungry Travels Gets a Makeover

Like a Real Housewife of Orange County, Hungry Travels has undergone cosmetic surgery — a little nip and tuck, if you will. As you’ve probably noticed, the site has a brand new look.  The change arose primarily out of necessity, but now that I’ve messed with the layout a bit, I’m pretty happy with the way it’s turned out.

I still have tweaking to do, but I think everything — search, RSS feeds, email subscriptions, comments, etc. — is functioning properly. Posts on the frontpage will now appear as excerpts rather than full posts, meaning you have to click into them to read the entire thing.  It’s an extra step, but shouldn’t be too much of a big deal, and it speeds up the loading time of the site.

I hope you enjoy the new layout and find it easy to navigate.  If you notice any problems or have suggestions for improvements, feel free to drop me a line at hungrytravels@gmail.com.  Thanks for reading!

I’d read “Hungry Travels” even if it was hand-written on a paper bag!
