A Tribute to John Hughes

John Hughes died yesterday.  For anyone who grew up in the 80s, it’s a sad day. Not to be cliche about it, but for my money, Hughes’s movies defined our era: Vacation, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off… I love those movies, I’ve watched them dozens of times, and if they pop up on tv, I’m watching them again, no questions asked.

In tribute to John Hughes, here are three classic clips from his movies, all food related.  They just don’t make them like this anymore.
