Good news: On my way back from Trader Joe’s I saw a “Grand Opening” banner on Harvest Market on the Sound, so I popped in to take a look.
Nice looking upscale store, reminiscent of Whole Foods/ Zeytinia/ Iron Tomato.

The produce section is near the entrance.

Shelves of nuts, dried fruits, seeds and grains.

Plenty of gourmet boxed goods, oils, condiments, sauces, etc.

The fish and seafood looked great, as did the meats, which I forgot to take a picture of.

Here’s the prepared foods case. I even saw latkes and knishes.

And behind that are the deli meats, cheeses and hanging salamis.

I hung around the bakery area for a while, scoping out the desserts.

And the breads.

Harvest Market’s also making its own pizza.

Prices are higher than your local supermarket or Trader Joe’s, but that’s to be expected — they’re more in line with what you’d pay at other gourmet markets. From what I saw, customers were excited about the grand opening. This looks to be a really nice addition to the area. Stop by and check it out.

For me, it’s worth the trip…….. It’s a one stop shop that caters to all my needs and more…. Much more relaxed and less stress than driving over to white plains whole foods to deal with that mess of a parking area. Thanks for a great new addition to the area…..Looking forward to many more trips…..

Stopped by today. Very nice place, very friendly and the owner Angelo told me how to cook the fish and meat I bought and was very helpful. Came out from behind the counter, very professional.
The salads they have are outstanding and don’t look or taste like the ones you see at Stop & Shop. Yes, a little more expensive, but much better in quality. And they are open until 8pm every night.
