I agree that the sound was a problem - it was very loud, esp when the bar gets full. So sorry to hear about your experience. I would have been tempted to walk out after such a long wait. Did the manager (or anyone) finally apologize at the end of the meal? "Went to Tarry Lodge on 6/23 for my child's HS graduation. We had a 7:15 reservation and were seated promptly. Appetizers came out right away. 45 minutes after the appetizers were cleared dinner still had not arrived. The waiter kept passing our table and I could not get his attention. When I finally got him, I was told dinner would be out shortly - he was condescending and simply could care less about our dining experience. At 8:30, I asked again and was told that dinner would be out within 6 minutes. At 8:45 I spoke with the manger and waiter who told me they were now "plating" the dinner. By then I my graduate was VERY upset, hungry and about to miss a graduation party. After another 5 minutes, I sought out the manager again - still no food, and no apologies for over 1 hour between appetizer and dinner!!! The food finally arrived at 8:50 & was slapped on our table. The pizza that my daughter had ordered looked like it had been sitting in the kitchen for a long time! A special occasion had been spoiled and the evening cannot be replaced. The manager and waiter were both awful." AWFUL – READ ON!!
