I was planning on heading up to White Plains on Sunday for the farmer's market at the county center...I think I'll swing by Kam Sen right after. Thanks for telling us about it!

Hey Laura,

I think you'll be very happy with their selection of noodles- they've got both fresh and dried. And the sauces are excellent too.

I haven't been to the Japanese store in Harrison, so I'll definitely go check it out- thanks for the tip!

I love Aberdeen- have always had great meals there. Last time I was there was around Chinese New Year and the lobster with ginger and scallion was incredible. Not cheap, but it was worth it.

Hey, Doug -
I've been wanting to go to Kam Sen. I'm wondering how their noodle selection and sauces compares in quality and price to other stores.

For Mochi, have you tried the Japanese store in Harrison? It seems like there's a lot of Japanese stuff going on there - even in their library, where there's a special collection of Japenese eating.

Speaking of Asian food near the DMV in White Plains - have you tried the excellent Aberdeen yet? I haven't been since they relocated to White Plains, but their reputation has always been great.

Happy eating!
